The slopes
Walked rather than viewed. Seal strips, tab condition, granule cover, nail pops, earlier repairs and any sign of a layover underneath.

This is simply the first half of how every job here starts, available on its own. Buying a house, selling one, or just tired of wondering โ the roof gets looked at and you are told what is there, with no estimate unless you ask for one.
Walked rather than viewed. Seal strips, tab condition, granule cover, nail pops, earlier repairs and any sign of a layover underneath.
Pipe boots, the chimney and its flashing, skylight kerbs, vents and the valleys. Water almost never comes through the middle of a slope.
Drip edge, starter course, fascia, and whether water is actually leaving the roof where it should rather than running behind the gutter.
Daylight through the deck, dark tracking on the boards, damp or flattened insulation, and whether intake and exhaust are anywhere near balanced.
A spoken verdict cannot be checked and cannot be kept. A list with a photograph against each line can be read by you, by a surveyor and by the next roofer who comes out, and it still says the same thing in six months.
A full tear-off and a rebuilt covering, with the tear-off, the decking allowance and every component on its own line of the estimate.
Read the page →Targeted work on a covering with life left in it, quoted as a fixed job rather than by the hour so the figure cannot drift.
Read the page →Working out where water is really getting in, which is almost never beneath the mark it has left on a ceiling.
Read the page →Wind and hail damage recorded in detail on the slope, then repaired to the same written specification as any other job here.
Read the page →The wall below the roofline, priced on the same document and done by the people already working on the elevation above it.
Read the page →Getting rainwater off the roof and away from the foundation, quoted by the run so the figure is easy to check.
